One of the largest thermal lakes in Europe that serves medical purposes can be found in Hévíz. The temperature of the water is 26-28C even in the winter therefore it is possible to bathe in the open air throught the year. Due to these chaeacteristics Hévíz has been a renowned and dynamically developing spa resort for 200 years.
